I don't think you'll find it is. 1 PS = 0.987 BHP therefore 140 PS = 138 BHP.

Hmmm, that doesn't make sense as one of my first cars was 105PS in the book, but 92HP on paperwork.

Maybe companies just make things up now Confused

The 2.4L engine as used by Ford is available in a 140 PS version as standard version.
So there is quite some more margin as this 140 PS power level is regularly found in twin wheeled Transit chassis-cabs used to build campers of 3,5 to 3,8 GVW.
These Transits are working a lot harder as they are constantly near maximum weight.

I seriously considered that, as there is no substitue for a well-thumbed manual when you're laying under the car. Then I remembered how reliable printing is with our 'throw-a-six-to-start' IT system and quickly discounted the idea. I did load it onto my iPad though, which does make for nice and convenient reading.
