[For Sale] Disc brake Salisbury axle with ARB RD20 locker

I've got the salisbury axle I just removed from my 110.

It's a genuine disc braked one (although the calipers are missing as I used them on my new axle)

It has an ARB RD20 locker fitted (done about 20k miles) which was fitted (with new bearings), but both main bearings are now very loose (the diff unit will move either side by about2~3mm)

So included are a pair of brand new bearings; one side uses the standard salisbury bearing, the other is a 5mm narrower "special" ARB bearing (it's not special, it just has a different part number to the normal LR part, and just as easy to buy!) plus a couple of packs of various shims, and a pinion oil seal.

Prior to me fitting this axle I welded on second pair of damper lower brackets (my chassis also has dual upper brackets) so if you wanted to stiffen up the rear end it's easy to add a second set of dampers.

I also have (not shown in the picture) a bolt on rear diff guard which I'll throw in.

It has the genuine brake pipes and T piece, and the axle breather is a push fitting modern style 5mm pipe.
I've just jetwashed it in this picture, but it could benifit from a rub down a lick of paint too. it was Mint when I fitted it 5 years back!

I want to buy a new Ashcroft locker for my new Rover type axle, what with their fitting cost as well means I'm looking for £700 for this axle.

Ooh, Jim, you've got me salivating here. I'm just now moving to Brussels but won't be settled for a few months. If someone gives you quick money for this by all means take it, but if you still have it come the fall, I'm going to be getting in touch.

A month ago I would have bitten your arm off for this but things being as they are at home buying a second rear axle would not go down well

Got the itch to get the Ashcroft locker for my 110, so a cheeky bump up for this axle...
