Recommended independents in Hants/Surrey
I have tried a search, but either there's nothing on here or I'm not using the right terms!

I've been let down on my MoT and service by someone up near my parents and now need to get it done fairly urgently but at a reasonable cost (Harwoods of Basingstoke want about £400 - I don't consider this reasonable!).

My local Halfords auto centre is in Farnborough and I've had good experiences with them on a different car but I'm slightly anxious because Defenders just aren't built like a Golf or a Focus...

Any suggestions gratefully received!

I've personally used Kwik Fit in Aldershot for the FF and they were fine. Comment from the chap saying brake discs were a bit worn but I'm sure you know that sir.

Haven't had as good an experience with the one in Guildford of the 110. Failed that because the rear seats were loose and no seat belts were fitted. I'd just come back from shooting with the dog and the seats were folded and a plastic bag was over the two seat belts in the middle of the floor...

I'm of the opinion though that I do all my own work on them so should know if they're going to pass/fail and use pretty much the most convenient / cheapest to get the piece of paper stating what I already know. Ed

My wife takes her D4 (and Fl2 before that) to Deepcut Garage in Lightwater and always gets good service.

I tend to use Longshot Lane MOT in Bracknell who are also good, but appreciate that's a bit further away. Darren

I used to be the manager at long shot lane MOt Thumbs Up

Not sure if Keith gotts will do a MOT on site ?

I use the local F1 auto centre to me , they seem fair to be honest, and certainly don't look for work on my Landy Laughing
