Hello all,
I've acquired an OEM volt meter as part of a complete dash assembly and wondered where would be the best place to pick up a live feed for it. Does it need to go right back to the battery, or the alternator? The fuse box perhaps, or will it work with any handy +12v connection? ![]() Click image to enlarge Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Oh boy, good point. I was thinking of an ammeter
![]() In that case, I'll connect it to a suitably fused ignition live. Thanks ![]() 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

I took my ignition feed from the radio via a relay to get the voltage from the cigarette lighter feed. 1999 Defender TD5 110

![]() My Puma and the farm's 2005 TD5 both have ignition switched lighter sockets. Is the old TD5 different? |
