Children's seat
I have a euro spec 110 Defender SW and need to know if there is some kind of set belt latched used to secure a child's seat. Seems the US cars have seat belts that will lock to a certain length and secure the seat (no slack can be pulled).

They just have the kiddie seats. I suspect I will need to get a seat belt clip (Graco) that will keep slack from developing in the belt.

We use a child seat in our 110 xs. In fact, I mount it in the middle of the second row to give my boy the best view - he loves it.

The seat is a MaxiCosi forward facing seat for kids 1-4yrs. It mounts with just the seatbelt wrapped around it. Even the middle belt (shorter than the others) has no problem.

I don't think there's isofix attachments in the defender. I actually thought they were compulsory on new cars but they're usually labelled and I've definitely not seen any.

In answer to your question: your child seat shouldn't need the seat belt to lock. The inertial locking of the belt will be sufficient as the seat should grip the belt and distribute the force in the same way that a strapped in adult would.
