Probably a stupid question (I make a habit of them), but...
Just got round to wiring in the socket for my tow bar. Taken the rear speaker panel off, and the only electrical connector is the black/purple power take-off. The harness adaptor I have (Sh*tpart) goes from the various pins of the towing socket, to an orange rectangular socket. But there is no corresponding plug that I can find on my Defender (mine's a Puma). Should there be something? If so, where is it hidden? If not, I guess I need a further harness to go from somewhere to somewhere. Any idea of the part number? ![]() 2010 110 XS USW (the slow one) 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ (the fast one) 2005 Ducati ST3 1954 Sunbeam S8 |

Up behind a piece of plastic in the rear drivers side wheel arch at the back if I remember correctly. Couple of screws to take out that are normally siezed. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Cheers! Found it!
![]() Now to put back together the rear speaker and panel trim, that I needlessly removed! ![]() Bloody panel clips are a pain.... Next question - Any idea of a part number or source for the 'T' pattern socket (used for the power take off on the towing electrics and in the rear speaker void)?? Want to connect up my reversing sensor kit, plus my rear 12V socket next.... ![]() 2010 110 XS USW (the slow one) 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ (the fast one) 2005 Ducati ST3 1954 Sunbeam S8 |

Yup, found that - I was actually asking for a source for the little plastic 't' section 2-pin connectors, so that I can plug straight in to the wiring harness for a cigarette lighter, without having to cut or splice anything.
