I fitted the LRI (Alphamotive) rear parking sensirts kit today.
Very happy, works well but haven't wired up the switch yet as I want it on the dash somewhere and need to get some long wiring and decide where to run it. I wired mine into the reversing lights .. No additional switches required

Yeo same here but want to be able to fully kill them if I am towing or somethibg Cheers, David

I have a different tow assembly than standard but didn't need anything else, just had to drill a few holes.
You'll need a rivnut tool too but I found installation pretty easy. Just take your time to ensure all the wiring is done neatly too. Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

How about a kill switch in the back next to the rear speaker? Save running wires around the car
or a remote wireless switch? |

On a few installation videos I've seen they always locate the 'kill switch' just inside the rear door in the speaker surround as they assume the only reason one would choose to deactivate the system is when towing... That said, I can see - for a few unique situations - the benefit of having it in the front.... the back would save a lot of hassle though...

Yeah I nearly did that, just fancied trying to get it in the dash first as I think it's a (very slightly) better setup for me personally given how I use the car.
I've got some convoluted tubing and have fitted the switch into the small piece of trim which goes directly below the instrument cluster, on the wiper stalk side. Very happy with the system otherwise Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
