Solar 12v lighting
Hello


Hope this in correct section as I'm looking at solar lighting for my garage as its set back from the house it would not be easy to get power to it.

Seen these kits which I guess you could also use camping?

Seem to get very good reviews and all in for £99 to £129 ? but s this good or bad.


Is it cheaper to buy the bits yourself and install? as I also spotted this with a higher output and some of these also charge up a 12V battery which I have a spare one of also.

If it's for a permanent install at the garage you might want to consider adding a wind turbine for some diversity. I've had a little experience with remote supplies for electric gates and they've always had solar panel and wind turbine. Bow down James

I'm always doing stuff...

Spent the weekend sorting a front boarder out from sleepers and what a pain they are to hand cut !!!


Sankey is waiting for the good weather to return as need to push it out of garage and take the other wheel off to get the new tyre on. However while on my laptop I'm looking up rear mudflaps.

Truth is with the sankey..... I'm getting close to needing to paint it... and I'm doing it so roll on or spray and I'm nervous at both, the wheels are the first things I've ever sprayed.


The lighting would be handy in the Garage, for working on Sankey so it sort of is the same project. I've looked at wind turbines but seem a lot for quite small ones?


Reversing camera I've done a bit more last night (see my post) but no screen delivered yet so cannot do any more.
