find a truck tarpaulin or boat cover repairer near you and they will weld or sow a patch on

You're probably better off glueing a patch on rather than stitching that horrible stuff! Stitching is likely to act like perforations and tear easily.
I detest these horrible modern cheap plasticy tilts, they're not a patch on the old canvas ones. The method of closing and fastening is rubbish too. ![]() |
