I bet there was a lot of sharp intakes of breath with the production team putting this out live as Coulthard managed to get a bit of down to earth language in at the end. "With that tight leather suit you can see Guy's got balls of steel!" You could see failed Blue Peter Boy doing some arm waving especially when Guy said back about showing his camel toe
Somehow the way DC left this right untill the end gives the impression that he was under strict orders not to say anything ad lib all night, he didn't seem as relaxed as when he was on last week with the F1 against the bike  |

All that effort he and his team put in and he's denied another final run to push himself. That's what makes it entertaining, not loads of adverts and ridiculous drawn out interviewing in particular re G force.
No more time for another run, then cut to adverts. All credit to guy, poor decisions by C4 IMHO. |

Tack, I thought exactly the same. A***holes. He'd absolutely dialled in and knew what the 78mph felt like. I'm sure, as Ken and his Mech said, hit it hard and fast in one lap and he'd have done the 80....
