I got mine for Island 4x4, the light was £7.50 +vat, looks a bit cheap and nasty, but is nice and bright, I am quite impressed. |

I use on eof the wipac ones with SMD LEDs rather than the standard 5mm LEDs. Nice and bright and mounted without the plinth.
Stops it getting kicked when going up the ladder and in my opinion looks smarter |

Red-dot, how urgent is this? I have a unused Le Perei LED number plate lamp here at home, brand new unopened in its box. I did opt to use the Wipac version though which I think is better, but that is a personal opinion. Many will use the Le Perei I'm sure, but personally I have not been lucky with them. Now, before mid March we most likely get a UK def2. member visiting here. I would happily give my Le Perei to them to take back to UK and send it to you from there if you would like it. (Not for reselling though) ![]() If a Le Perei is fine with you, you just need to wait a good month or so. More detail in below thread about both of them. Let me know. ![]() Eric http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic16395-150.html You never actually own a Defender. Many thanks for your kind offers guys, I think I will go with the Wipac LED and do away with the now faded and scruffy plinth if this involves no drilling. I fitted the Wipac set last year and had zero faults with any of them so I think I will go for that type.
Cheers fellas for the help. Alex. ![]() |
