The highland adventure
Hi all,

Been a bit quiet on this front over the festive period, my apologies

Have been on the phone with Ian this evening, and the current thinking is to run the trip over one of the last two weekends in May.

Hope this fits in with folk, I will hopefully be able to confirm dates in the next week or so. Following that, I will look at what the best way of booking places/placing deposits will be.

I've been up there too and yes it's a great location... and handy for those North and South. Dunno what Dunked would be like in Summer, probably crazy busy.

I think LR Experience do treks as well as their off-road days; like an overnighter in the estate they use for the longer sessions.

I spoke with one of the lads from Dunkeld about the last overnight trek that they were hosting. I think (if I remember correctly) it was about £240 per vehicle! Shocked

I personally felt that was a bit expensive. ( I was offered a staff discount of 10%) but still couldn't justify the price I'm afraid.

Will be interesting to see what they would quote for a forum/ group outing though.

I'm dying to do something like this and get my roof tent out in anger Thumbs Up

Hello all!

Date is now looking pretty firm as the last weekend in May! Apologies for not getting back sooner than this, I have had a pretty hellish work schedule through January. Over the next couple of weeks I will be looking to firm up numbers, ideally we need a minimum of 8 vehicles, and a maximum of 10.

If there are greater numbers than 10, we can possibly look at running a second weekend later in the year!

Will be back online in the next couple of days!

I'll be having a bit of a find-out about camping options too!
