it would be but I don't think there's any faults being logged. I don't think they record everything

that was my intention but I'm not sure how possible / practical that is with the inlet manifold in place?
have you tried yourself or is that a theoretical suggestion? either way thanks for the comment. |

Have you seen the number of different dtcs there are for the glow plug system in total? I think a scan tool will get you the answer you are looking for without even having to open the bonnet. |

Why not check for current draw thru the circuit. about 60 amps total from stone cold. =15 amps per glow plug.
Once they`ve been used they drop to 40 amps (ish) 8 to 10 amps. As long as there 12 volt ones. some run at 3.5 volts now, but that's mostly cars. Excuse the spelling I`am better with spanners and wires. |
