2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey

Alarm goes off if you press the bottom of the drivers door??

Last couple of days the alarm on my 2008 2.4 TDCi has started going off for no reason

I found the problem when washing it this afternoon

If you lock it, alarm is set, all good. The slightest pressure on the bottom of the drivers door directly under the door handle and it sounds like the drivers door central locking is opening or closing and the alarm goes off??

You can press, pull, bang etc anywhere else on the drivers door and nothing just at the bottom and the alarm goes off

2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Baltic Blue

Had to get a door switch replaced on my 110 the alarm kept going off. Could it be that?

sounds like its either a door switch or wiring to.
