[SOLD] Mach 5 15" x 10" Steel Wheels with Coop
Set of 5 rolled edge steel Matt Lee Mach 5 wheels with Cooper Discoverer STT tyres. 4 of the wheels are 15" x 10" and the spare is a 16" version with the same rolling diameter tyre fitted. The spare has a different edge. Tyres are 32" x 11.5". The 4 tyres on the 15" wheels have around 10mm of tread left, but are just starting to show signs of beginning to perish. The tyre on the spare is unused, but I don't know how old it is (seems very new), if anyone can decipher tyre age codes, I can take a photo of them.

I bought these a while back from K9F, original sales post here:http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic37386.html?highlight=mach and some of his pictures are still up there. Wheels have been taken off the car and I will clean and photograph them tomorrow.

They sat in my work for a while until a planned trip to Salisbury finally prompted me to fit them. They have been used for that 1 day trip, a few 100 miles pootling around the back lanes and one, very brief, day in a muddy field.

I don't think I had fully realised how wide these were, they do poke outside the wheel arches and, as a result, spread a lot of mud up the side of the car.

I have had the car MOT'd with them fitted and checked with the MOT guy who said he wasn't interested as it was a construction and use issue. If I was going to keep them, I would probably fit wider wheel arches.

Others have complained that these are tricky to balance, but my local tyre fitter managed it without issue.

As it is, I only rarely use the car off road and they are substantially noisier than my AT tyres, on the plus side, the offset means that I found the turning circle decreased noticeably.

800 cash on collection or BACS. Delivery/courier at your cost. Big Dave of MD couriers collected these for me and did a sterling job.

GLWTS....

These were on my truck for a number of years. Gave me excellent service and were replaced with yet another set of Mach 5s but 16" instead of 15". They will undoubtedly be snapped up quickly. Few extra photos....

I bought the stainless Entreq extended mudflap brackets and moved the flaps outwards to prevent mud splatter.

Thanks for the extra pics. I wondered how you kept yours so clean.

Here are my photos, not as clean as Mal's. I got the worst of the mud off, but they still had plenty of silver grease around the rear of the wheels from them being recently fitted that didn't come off easily.

Local independent said that tyres had just started to perish, but on closer inspection, I can't see any evidence of this, perhaps they have better eyes than me. There is some slight sidewheel damage to one tyre (on wheel 2) and a little chip of paint is missing on the very rim of wheel 1.
