Didn't even damage it and kept the old one on the principle that a few years down the line I'll have a spare and won't really be bovvered if there's a non-heated strip somewhere or uvver... Peter |

Ive had stone chips in a few screens and its never stopped the heated element...ive had many heated elements fail and a few new screens under warranty.

I've had some huge (MOT failure type) stone chips with radiating cracks and they've never affected the heating element.

Sounds like you should push back on that then - go back for the warranty again. Escalate it somehow if they don't give you a satisfactory response.

Mine also has some area's which won't clear out as fast as the overall part of the windscreen.... It just takes some more time. I thought that wasn't a big issue. puma 2.2 MY2013

you can get a new screen for £130 - they seem to enjoy arguing warranty claims just for the sake of it...you would think they would try and keep the customer happy.
