2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Corris Grey

Knocking Noise

My father in laws 90 tdci on a 59 plate is making a knocking noise on over run. Seems to be coming from the nearside front wheel. But you know how it is the noise could be coming from anywhere. Its under warrenty but its nice to work out first whats wrong.

Check the bolts that hold the turbo heat shield in place to the engine block. Had this on mine and it made an unmerciful racket. Some of the bolts needed tightened. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Thanks ill tell him to check that. It does sound more serious than that. But you never know.
