2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 CSW Bonatti Grey

Well here's a bit of an update as to how it's going.

Managed to Finnish putting the new loom in today.
Everything wired, just the dash to go in, which is all fitted up.
Refurbished carb on, which I must say is a work of art, by Carburetor Exchange.

Engine timing set, so should now fire up once the dash is in.
still have to juggle with a few panel gaps, but waiting on the outer wings.

New Undercover covers hood fitted, which is top notch

Hope to be done by Christmas....

I have booked its first trip out.
I've managed to scrape it in last minuite on the Series 1 line up at Malvern spares day on Sunday 10th January.

I need to get some mileage on it to iron out any problems, as it's also booked for a run over to Belgium next June!

Looks very nice, mine is having to stay with the 'old as found rolling restoration look' until I can get some good facilities to strip it right down. 2.2 90 XS

That's a big factor when you take them apart.
You need 4 times the space, amazing how much room the bits take up....

No meaningful progress I'm afraid - a combination of the 90 throwing up jobs to do and having had to be away with work.
