that looks well tidy and as such is probably worth more than the average, also makes it more pinchable, I would therefore agree a value if the premium is not too high, saves any argument if the worst should happen. £88 per year is a bargain anyway DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I've got an agreed value policy on some of my LRs. They will simply ask you for 6 clear photos, front, back, side, interior, etc. Ask you for a list of any restoration costs, price of parts paid, who done them etc. Basicly tell them how much you want it insured for, they will then agree a value for you. If then the worst happens, and it's a total loss, you will get your agreed value back. Rather than the book price minus a few grand, with no arguments. Well worth it if you have ploughed a few quid into it. There is a fee, but it's nothing compared to what they will offer you without it. Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |
