Is gearbox mounting missing?

Hi

Was under my 2013 110 puma today to get back a nut I dropped whilst trying to fit safari snorkel Embarassed

Saw the chassis cross brace (not sure of its proper name?) that runs under the gearbox. There is a hole in it at the middle and a threaded hole in the gearbox on top of it. Should there be a rubber mounting here?

Have not done pics before so I hope I have added them correctly

Cheers MATT

Hi

Thank you for that. I know bits get left off at the factory but thought could not have missed a mounting!

Yes you're not the first one to think that JLR had forgotten to fit the mounting. A bit worrying when you first spot it.

Lovely to see oil stains and corrosion on a 2013, comforting, like an old pair of slippers.

Only kidding Thumbs Up There has been talk in the past that very early Puma's had a mount there but I've not seen it mysef and I did have a fairly early one from new back in 2007. Steve.
