Very scant on detail. What exactly are you getting for your money? I have always been very sceptical and suspicious about plug in boxes, especially when for the same money you can get a remap with as many good reviews and recommendations you could wish for from the site sponsors.

I would want to know exactly 'what's in the box' it may be very little? Certain tuning plug and play boxes often contain very little, it may just be a resistor that fools the fuel fuel rail into thinking it's under-pressurising and as a result gives you the power gain by simply throwing more fuel at the engine. These plug and play boxes have undoubtedly come a long way perhaps but it is something I personally would never consider when there are proven and safe alternatives. They are usually cheap, primarily they have not had the expense of time and money in development. This one is certainly not cheap, I would want to know more. Give them a call perhaps?

Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!

Be interesting to know more about this product. I have looked at the Allisport intercoolers and radiators first hand (friend just installed both in a NAS 110 with an HS 2.8 TGV.).The workmanship and quality was very impressive, from what I understand Allisport has a good reputation of supplying quality kit. Would be surprised to find out this isn't up to snuff, but yes, more info would be a good thing.

A plug in box can be good. Allisport is a reputable company I think so It is probably not that bad.

I don't have experience with the Allisport box but I have a PSI powerbox for my td5. This one works by making the opening signal to the injector longer.
It works good and I like it because I can switch it on and off when I want. I am not that power hungry so normally it is switched off, only if I really want to use the power I switch it on. Most off the time that happens off-road.

I only experience one disadvantage as it kicks in at about 1300 rpm, it is very difficult to drive constant at around 1300 rpm if switched on.

A proper tune might be better but then you have to make sure it is really tuned to your vehicle, if you get a 'fit for all' tune I doubt it will be much better.

I bought mine 2nd hand so it was cheap. Would I buy it again? Yes. Would I buy it when it had the same pricetag as a proper tune Ehh Maybe, maybe not. Roel
