Hello chaps,

So the 130 sold, though the buyer wanted to save a few pennies and elected to take the truck with the standard wheels (and a few other bits removed, more of which later). As such, I have four modular steel wheels (16 x 10, ET-32) with near brand new BFG KM2s (305/70R16) for sale.

The wheels have been zinc coated and painted in limestone cream. They are all unmarked save for one, which has a small chip at the rim edge (caused when the tyre was fitted). I'll include a small pot of touch-up paint Very Happy

The tyres have only covered ca1,000 miles and are all in near-new condition. Some moulding tabs are still present. The white lettering has been mounted inboard. Each of the wheels has Magnum Plus balancing builds within, such that no wheel weights are required.

I'm after £550 for the whole lot (you wouldn't even get the tyres for that much!). Collection only I'm afraid - I'm currently Defenderless! Big Cry

This will be the third Defender I've sold, and certainly the most difficult one yet to see drive away. I know you still get pangs of regret having sold the Keswick ragtop, and this one has been under my skin from day one.

The new owner won't have to call him BamBam, though I will encourage it Whistle

Having seen this truck in the flesh I can say this really is a fantastic truck.

Ronin has done a really good job with all the mods done on it all very neat and tidy and done right.

Cheers Chris. I can't quite believe I'm selling him, but then I can't afford to keep them both (and I'd never know which one to drive...). Hopefully it won't move too far away from Tunbridge Wells and we'll both see him from time to time.

The whole selling process has become no less difficult despite having had a few days to get used to it! Big Cry

Fathaggis, I already have the next one lined up, so I'm afraid that a swap won't work for me, sorry! I've seen your other post though, and think that you're right on the money going for a 130. I've never had a problem parking or turning mine around and the extra space is incredibly useful. I'm a really keen mountain biker and the ability to keep the interior free from bike and mountain biking gear is a Godsend. In fact, I've been five up (blokes and bikes) on a biking trip to Wales and I can't think of a better car for the job! Good luck with your search. Thumbs Up

Hi Ronin, will these fit a standard MY2012 110 suspension or does it need a lift? Also I'd have to get re-painted and wondered what would be involved, any ideas of a cost?
