Where does this go ?

Hi all, I'm finally getting close to finishing the tonneau cover on the 90 pick up,

But - anyone know where this goes please ? A pic would be super great also thanks,

I persume it's used to tie off the end of the elastic on the cover, but I can't seem to find any pics of it

Never seen painted ones before as they are normally galvanised but this is where they fit.

They are galvanised, but everything on the truck ( external) is black or corris grey themed
