2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Epsom Green

Fuel additives

I asked this question only last week and was advised not to add anything to the fuel that wasn't intended to be there. Mainly because fuels today are cleaner in general and have their own detergents built in. The tip of using the higher grade diesel was given too as an option but haven't tried it yet. Anyone else used it? Results?

2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Java Black

I tried both, using premium Diesel and adding a can of Liqui Moly 5128 (Diesel System Cleaner) to a full tank on my former Puma. Premium Diesel improved the prevalent diesel knock a bit, but the 5128 improved all motor noises by a large margin. Was quite satisfied.
