I'm thinking of getting some premium seats for the defender are they the much better than standard XS seats,

They are far superior, especially if you are a gentleman of a larger size (height, width or both)

I have them in both my 90 and 110 now and wouldn't be without them.

Just my opinion though.....

Find someone near you with them who will let you have a good sit in them or take you out for a drive.

If you're ever near Southampton, you're welcome to try mine!

Got the premium part leather seats in my 110, I am 18st and 6ft tall and find they're a massive improvement over the standard XS seats I had in the silver 110 Thumbs Up 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon - GONE

they do if you have bulkhead removal and seat rail risers- but then, so do the standard XS seats in that case ....

Anyhow - YES much improved seats - I especially value the increased support at around shoulder level -but I think that depends on your height.
