Don’t lose too much sleep… it WILL be rectified, and rectified properly. Of course the QA bloke noticed it! But is it cheaper to take a vehicle out of the line and put it through the paintshop again, or to ship it as it is to the dealer, let them rectify it, and send their warranty claim to JLR?

And the dealer will do nothing until the customer complains…

I must say though, why did you think this particular Defender would be any different to every other that's ever been built?

I thought Defenders were more expensive in Switzerland than in the UK...

Now reading here that an Autobiography in the UK list price was about £60.000. Shocked
That is about CHF 90.000!

List price here in Switzerland on the road was about CHF 70.000, or about 47.000£
There is one brand new for sale here on autoscout.ch from a trader at 73.500 CHF right now. No takers.
