List price is a good price!

IMHO, if someone ordered an Autobiography, the two tone paint (or "fancy crap paint" as you called it!  ) was the right decision; to my mind, it was one of the clear differentiators between the £60k Defender and one less than half the price. |

CRAP in its application
Not it's concept I love the look of it But here are two long dark shadow lines on the drivers side where the paint has been put on too thick I suspect the 'crafstman' painting it got too close with the gun because he spilt his tea or dropped his fag down the front of his overalls In any case I have now got past the disappointed and sad stage and I am f*****g furious Doubly so because I paid 3000 quid extra for this Matte Corris grey The QA bloke who signed it off should be sacked When I picked it up it was in the showroom and was not visible It was only when we got home in the natural light that we saw it Watch this space |

I'm slightly confused... I thought this was the "Bargain Spot" sub forum? Am I the only person who thinks £60k+ is not a bargain?
I mean, I love Defenders, but £60k would get you this and enough change to service and fuel it for a little while...  |

I think the CEO and board members after a heavy drinking corporate jolly when discussing the price of the Autobiography someone said think of a price and then someone else slurred now double it.
Twenty five grand plus or there about for the extras, someone surely must be laughing all the way to the bank. There again if money was no option I would have two... For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Either way I am not happy and it should not have been handed over to me like that Additionally I am now told it cannot be rectified for at least 2 weeks As soon as it is fixed I am selling the f*****g thing I have a heritage hardtop on order which I am putting an LS3 in Will concentrate my affections on that |
