It would be satin, my choice anyway.
I've never painted the chassis only Dinitrol protected but many for chassis paint swear by POR 15. |

Thats good stuff, I used it on my 80" axels and drum backplates. but its brush on and im a bit.. drippy with my painting. Plus it needs the uv stable topcoat.. drip drip drip.
I need a spray, thats where i found the eastwood stuff from frosts 1953 80" 1987 mini city e 2011 90" |

I used satin black Rustoleum over the whole chassis including the rear x-member,use a gloss roller and thin the paint down and you get a really good looking and super tough finish. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Primer on the rear cross member? ![]() ![]() My rear cross member on the outside got a coat of satin black years ago, and that looks as close to standard as possible. ![]() Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
