Gentlemen, know doubt many of you more worldly-wise will know this already, but I have just discovered a way of blocking out the occasional background noise/permanent send of SWMBO. Never would I have believed that strimming could be so peaceful....

I simply go to the garage and just drill holes in my 4mm steel topped home made work bench. Then weld them up.
I have on two occasions actually done some of the jobs I had waiting tk be done in there! Madness. |

Once to mine to the bus stop, when the bus arrived gave the driver £10.00 and told him not to let her off till the money ran out.

We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to  us off.

Walk around the pheasant pens with the dogs does it for me ! Especially as she's not too keen on the Stag Turkeys we have in them this year!

After 27 years I just pretend not to hear her , I normally ignore anything she says anyway !!
Then I go out in the garden and power up something loud !!!! Defender 90 Tonga green . My 2007 County .2.4Tdci puma . Too many other Discos to mention, including a V8 petrol Disco3 and diesel Disco 3 !! ( All gone) |
