Chassis-Bulkhead Bolts
Hi guys

I noticed today that one of my chassis to bulkhead bolts looked loose checked to see if it was tight and it was but there was a gap between the washer and bulkhead bracket, then i remembered from my series days that there are two bolt length's one for if rock slider's are fitted and a shorter std bolt for without any rock slider's fitted, my 90 used to have rock slider's fitted but was remove before i bought it, there is a build up of rust between the nut and the bracket which suggests the bolt wasn't tightened up properly i also want to fit rock slider's soon and want to buy the right bolts.

so are there two bolt lengths or just a std bolt that allows you to fit rock slider's Smile Graham

I don't have an LR part number but used M12 x 180mm bolts and they were fine with the rocksliders. A quick look on Google and this appears to be the standard size.
When I came to fit the fuel tank guard also, I had to go to M12 x 200mm on the driver's side because of the extra bracket.
Don't forget to cover them in copperslip Wink
