So cargo net all fitted, bar a couple of very small tweaks. I have to say it took longer to install then I expected but everything is bolted back to reinforcing bars in the car so should do the job. The nice thing is it takes seconds to remove and can be used to secure things to the roof rack if out and about and spot a bargain.

Since receiving the net, now had additional net made with sheet attached to fix the oztent to the roof. Again this is well made and looks really good. Very Happy

Wow that looks neat! What are the bottoms of the webbing "uprights" attached to?

looks very industrial (in a good way Thumbs Up ) - how did you fix the cargo rail to the roof brace?

Got any photos of your roof net?

morning all,

The cargo rail was fixed at the top into the roof rail with M8 rivnuts behind the roof lining then bolted through holding the lining in place. The small side pieces of rail bolted through the channel running the length of the car with M6 bolts and reinforcing plates behind. As for the bottom I used the small black anchor plates shown below bolted through the shelf.

Now that is outstanding Thumbs Up

Just watch some of those metal clamps don't "chatter" on the side rails and rub off the paint.

The really nice thing on the clamps is the strap runs underneath so only the webbing touches the rack. Although good point I may length one side and tighten the other make sure.

Thanks
