LED drl help
I have purchased a couple of drls/fogs for a project im working on, they have a drl and separate fog light, so four wires. in the package they come with two controllers for each light/side. Curiously, on the wires coming out of the lights, there is a label which warns that these lights must be connected to the controllers or the leds will be damaged. Now ive bought quite a few different led products before for my 110 and I have never seen any warnings like this before. usually I would abide by these sort of warnings, but I already have a drl controller, one that dims the drls rather than turns them off like the ones supplied. I would much rather use my current controller than have the lights turn off altogether. so basically should I stick to the warnings or just use my own controller and have the fogs wired up without going through the controller?
thanks

If they have a dedicated controller each they may not necessarily run on 12v, to avoid the pain of replacing the units I would personally just stick to the instructions Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
