Rear Step Bumper
Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has fitted a rear step bumper. If so, can it be a one man job and are any specialist tools required?

I have one and it was fitted by the main dealer. However, I had to take it off within a year to sort out the fading paint on the rear crossmember.

It's an easy job, only difficulty will be if any of the items don't quite line up correctly due to LR build tolerances.

No special tools. The instructions on how to fit are in Topix if you care to look through them and see if it's something you would be happy to do yourself.

I've fitted quite a few. Very simple to fit, some bits are a bit fiddly but noting too bad. It's not too heavy to lift either, so easily a one man job Thumbs Up An engine to TDi for!
