Matt

The thing you need to get most of all is get a FIA roll cage fitted.

My 6.3 90 has a full safety devices internal/external system with rear bracing and chassis struts.
It cost 1200 quid and took two days to fit - so 2k - the same as a set of wheels and tyres.

I get very concerned when I see all of these mad landies with monster power - people spend up to 3k on wheels
and the same on a set of seats - but nobody seems to think about the safety aspects.

Chris Wood's latest car was built as a 2 seater hardtop so he has all of his cage mounted internally

With a station wagon the 50th Anniversary one has to be fitted - like mine - and whilst some argue that it spoils the look of the car I don't think that is the point.

best

Victor
