If SMB's experience isn't testament to the validity of lightguards what is? Buy a soft bristle paintbrush for cleaning, if cleaning comes before practical protection......

To the chap that has four holes in body work after removing self tappers and grilles, I had this problem on an old One Ten so I drilled out the holes and fitted aluminium riv nuts then fitted the grilles back on. You can use stainless screws with copper grease or even buy black nylon M5 screws. They go on and off really easy after this mod.
