2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 DCPU Santorini Black
Intercooler hose part number
On Friday as it was a nice day I thought I'd pop down to Gosport to have a look at "The Stick " as she's known sitting in the bay as she's to big to get into Portsmouth harbour
But on the way there the engine management light came on Big Cry after a check under the bonnet and nothing apparent I reset the code P0101 which is the MAF sensor fault code but a few miles later it came back on so I stoped again to check but nothing. I'd recently had the hose on the off side done under warrenty so thought maybe it had worked loose or gone again, so tightened clamps and tried again thus time driving steady and with the heater on full as noticed a slight increase in temp the same as I'd experienced when the hose went before.
Well I eventually made it took some pics and went to drive to my next port of call the quay side fish market in Portsmouth but after a steady drive it was back Sad
A quick call to Chris (killer) and he said deff be the other side, so a look all round and couldn't find anything wrong so another reset and a driving miss daisy trip home
Well I've finally got round to having a look and after taking off the near side hose I've found a split right around the hose clip Thumbs Up cheers chris
Right now for some help the number printed on the hose is not coming up in a search does any one have the correct part number for the original one
I've found the silicone sets they are coming in at about £65 for the set and they are showing 3/4 parts and I can only see 2 (BAS WWW site shows a 2 part set but out of stock ) and as I've only just had the off side one done I'm thinking the set might be a waste and may be I should just replace the standard one with another of the same
What's anyones thoughts on what I should do ref silicone ones
Cheers It's good to be back from the dark side
