Alpine CDE133BT and SWE1200
Hello,

I have just fitted the Alpine's SWE1200 subwoofer to my wife's MY15 90 and thought I would pass on some information.

As the CDE133BT head unit controls the subwoofer you do not need the control box that comes with the subwoofer's install kit.

You will need a phono lead, as this does not come with the kit, which plugs into the back of the head unit and then to the subwoofer's amp's wiring loom.

In the amp's wiring loom there is a blue white power lead that needs to be wired to the same colour wire on the back of the head unit. You will need to remove the wire from the land rover plug (grey) where the head unit plugs into the vehicle's wiring loom.

Other than the above the rest of the information on the forum was of great use Bow down

Is this cheaper than doing the LR upgrade for the same thing?
