265/65/18 spare wheel on standard mount
Guys quick question!

Before I bite the billet and buy a swing away carrier, which I really don't want to do as drilling holes in a 4 month old car doesn't appeal to me! Is there a nack to mount the spare so it doesn't rattle over bumps! I've wound out the studs slightly so the wheel doesn't catch the wiper arm (18" sawtooths) and the rattle is annoying! There must be a way to sort it as a lot of company's demo 90's have 18" spare wheels with no swing away carrier and if they all make the rattle mine does I'm sure people would complain haha!

No holes to drill on a Safai Equipment Single Pivot Swing Away.... Thumbs Up

Your entire weight is on the back door. Any slight play in it will exacerbate the sound. Check your striker plate for adjustment would be my advice. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

That's is a rather large spare wheel haha!!! Got a link to that single point carrier?
Yes that was the first thing I checked. I've been over it a few times but figure there just be done secret I don't know as so many people run those wheels and tyres on standard carrier!

Just looked them up and while the idea is good I'm not keen on the wheel basically blocking the window, sure that's a pain when reversing!

Carrying too much weight on the door and you can split the seam/welds on the door itself. There is a thread somewhere on it.
It is only a 90, reversing is not an issue. Just reverse until the car behind you alarm goes off...... Laughing

Seriously after having my windows tinted I could see nothing through the rearview mirror for about 5 years due to the reflective properties of the tint film applied. I recently swapped the glass for a new tinted version from VGS where the glass itself is tinted and can see far more now than I ever could before. Anything close you can see through the spokes easily.

What offset are the bowlers? Did you have to adjust studs so the wheel cleared the wiper arm?
