A3/B3 Stable, stay-in-grade oil intended for use in high performance gasoline engines and car & light van diesel engines and/or for extended drain intervals where specified by the engine manufacturer, and/or for year-round use of low viscosity oils, and/or for severe operating conditions as defined by the engine manufacturer.
A3/B4 Stable, stay-in-grade oil intended for use in high performance gasoline and direct injection diesel engines, but also suitable for applications described under A3/B3. Puma 110" SW ............................................................. Earth first. Other planets later |

Hardly, the OP is talking about a 200Tdi - these are not exactly fussy when it comes to oil. Furthermore he listed two oils of the same grade from the same manufacturer, so they're perfectly compatible. Even mixing grades is fine, you'd just end up with something in between.
Any Tdi is going to be happy with just about any 10W40 or 15W40 whether synthetic, semi, or mineral, and will have no issues with combinations of any of them. Mine gets whatever I can lay my hands on at the time, currently I have found a good source of 10W40 semi-synthetic at the local agricultural suppliers place so it's getting that. Gets changed every 6,000 miles anyway so hardly worth chucking expensive stuff in. For more modern engines there may be more stringent requirements, but if it's the right grade and meets the spec then chuck it in - it will all mix without any problems. |
