[For Sale] Vehicle CB radio and associated bits and bobs
Selling my vehicle CB radio and some associated bits and bobs. Looking for £40 posted to UK mainland by Hermes courier or £35 if collected from Buckingham or Oxford (office hours) localities. Forum relay always a possibility too
All originally purchased from Jim @ 4x4cb.com about three years ago. Selling as I have a handheld CB + car kit and a couple of PMRs too.
- CB itself is a COBRA 19 DX IV EU - 40 channel compact radio. In good working order and complete with mic, mounting bracket and originally supplied fixings, instructions and indeed the original box. A good compact ‘entry level’ CB.
- It's missing one of the rubber washers that goes between the body of the radio and the mounting bracket.
- Originally supplied fitted with a standard 12v power plug, however, I discarded that and wired straight back to the battery.
- In addition to the CB, the following items are included in the price ..
• 5m of antenna (RG58??) cable with standard plugs at either end. Around 75cm of cable and one plug is 'weathered', having been exposed to the elements for three years.
• A roof rack antenna mount currently fitted with a stud mount. ‘Weathered’ but fine
• A spare unused stud mount
I also have the following damaged items which I'm happy to throw in for the buyer to consider or dump
• Artificial ground plane with a rather bent antenna connector thread
• Black small antenna spring with a rather bent connector (no whip antenna included)
(Both above casualties of picking a fight with a low hanging branch)
First received PM reserves it pending sorting delivery/payment.
And now the 'bent' stuff....
