I fitted a pair of the 7" ones to the front of mine, pretty decent considering the price. Would have loved Lazer's but can't justify the cost nor the chance of them getting nicked.

Range isn't huge, but give a wide spread of light (flood/work light beam I guess). Be perfect on the rear of the vehicle.

I bought them from an Australian company on eBay, but when I received them, they were straight from Shanghai, and also had to pay customs charge so ended up quite expensive Rolling Eyes :blub:

Bell Auto Services, John if I remember correctly.

7 years ago you picked me up from York Station and sold be your Defender. The pictures posted by me above are your old car.

It's still going strong. If you want any feedback on the various performance upgrades you made to the engine/turbo etc or do a long term test review on them I would be very happy to let you have a look at it again.

Nigel

Hi Nigel

WOW I didn't notice the pictures on my old car until you pointed it out, looking again now I see the stripes I added to the side hidden under the mud hehe.

I'm glad its still going strong 7 years down the line, that for sure is proof in the pudding that what we offer in respect of tuning when done correctly is long term no problem for the car if serviced correctly.

If you have any more pictures please do post them, always good to see an old flame years down the line.

Regards Pete.

Pete, sorry, memory is not what it used to be.

I will give her a clean and take a few pics at the weekend.

She has been abused in terms of work - game keeping duties, a lot of mud involved, short journeys etc. However, she has been regularly serviced, oil changed etc. The magic switch is off when off road but as soon as I get on road it is permanently on. Love it.

Having a makeover and a bit of TLC at the moment. New Koni's, Police springs, new bushes, sound proofing throughout. Got started at it in November and keep finding something else I want to do to it, appears to be a never ending project but a fun one.

In terms of the work you did on the tuning, have had no issues with Turbo Technics product or the stainless exhaust. The remap is still great fun and makes a wonderful noise. As I have said, no issues at all. A great advert for the work you do.

All the best,

Nigel

Well my new lights have arrived. Initial look at them - they look OK and not bad quality. In the box was;

The light body - with finned heat sink
Mounting bracket
Stainless bolts for mounting

I will post some pictures when installed and the night time shots. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Cheers, I think a pair of them and a pair of slimline 18w ones are on the cards to complete the lighting setup (well for now at least) 1999 Defender TD5 110
