2.2 110 utitily xs

Had a enjoyable Afternoon at my local dealers test driving the 2.2 110 yesterday must say that there's a massive difference in the clutch, the 2.2 is easy to operate and wife friendly, the 2.4 I had, the clutch was horrible and caused me much pain on long trips.
The 110 was also far more planted and a smoother drive then the 90 2.4 we had before, so that's a 2.2 110 getting ordered today in corris grey, of course the td5 soft top is staying as well so we're still a two defender family !!

2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Orkney Grey

Afternoon Fullfat,

Last week I had a 2.2 90 as a courtesy vehicle with only 137 miles on the clock, whilst mine was in for some TLC at the dealers, I must admit I was overwhelmly surprised with it, thought the engine sounded quieter (than mine) and seamed to feel more torquier, and being used to the 110 seemed to be more nippy, though I would agree the 110 seems to be smoother whist driving, though if I had the budget I would love to have one along side the 110

2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Corris Grey

I love my 2.2 usw. Had it since April going for its 24k service on Wednesday.

Yesterday I had no complaints or faults. However today the near side side light has water in it. I am gutted really thought it was my first defender with no claims against it.

Happy chap today, just found out my build date has moved forward six weeks, to 13th March, that seems a big jump.
I'm happy as that means I don't need to mot the trade in now

I stalled a new 2.2 halfway across a junction while towing an Ifor with 2.4T of coal on board. Have you ever tried restarting a 2.2 Defender with the headlights on??? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

The new style key fouls the switch. Dangerous as hell. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Never stalled it, often turn on/off with lights on. Can honestly say the current 110 is the best I've owned.
