I would suggest that they intend to profiteer and wait for over list offers to be made once people realise that there are no more available............. And they can offer an "unsold " one they happen to have out the back in their storage yard....... Whistle Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Switzerland 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
I wouldn't worry so much. Our experience here in Switzerland is that after each real limited edition model that is supposedly sold (out) here, (the SVX, Black Pearl, Hunter, etc.), very quickly some of these, new from dealers, will appear on "autoscout24.ch", our prime internet site for cars. New and always at prices not higher than list price, sometimes quickly even a bit lower.
The next thing is that within months of delivery starting, there are always first time Defender buyers for whom such truck does not really fulfil their (comfort/driving) expectations, and then these young generation limited edition Defenders with often no mileage to speak of get also offered on the site, often via LR dealers again and with warranty. Those original buyers probably within months have replaced our iconic Defender by a lesser icon like an Eewok for instance. Laughing
So I patiently will see the Heritages and other editions we may get here listing on autoscout24 with interest already. Whistle Isn't this similar your end?
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

True but I remember pricing for NAS and 50th was way above once they hit the Swiss market! I bought my 50th for sFr 15k less than the 'usual' going price at that time but it took me some effort. m

The same thing does happen here and it did with the latest ltd edition models.

The LXV HT and the SVX soft top were all on offer after the mad rush to order.

most were at list price with main dealers and some were over priced by traders profiteering.

I feel the Heritage model will be fun to own but not as collectable as an SVX or an original G4 challenge 110 SW

one of the above will be next on my list.

2006 Defender 90 Td5 XS CSW Zambezi Silver
Got my order form through thankfully and it's signed by the dealer. Apparently LR haven't actually uploaded the configuration details onto their system so it's a 'manual form' to date. They're planning to do this on 27th February so they're very well organised as usual.

Hi Gents,

New to the forum and have just put down a deposit on a Defender 90 Heritage edition.

Dealer in Sydney said I was his fourth deposit . . . hopefully will secure me a car!

Did He have any info at all about the Aussie spec?
Is it different to the UK spec. Have you got Air Cond?
Pickles. (And welcome to the best Defender forum,...you'll learn HEAPS here)

Hi Pickles,

Dealer didn't seem to know anything beyond the press release. Said he has three other deposits, one for a 110 and two for 90s. He said that they've been told to expect spec and pricing in March.

I'd be amazed if the Aussie cars don't come with AC, would make it virtually unsaleable here. Deposit is fully refundable if I don't like pricing or spec. Nick

just waiting for him to reply.

And he is so very grateful for your kindness and consideration Steve, really appreciate it... Bow down

Only here can one find that special kind of camaraderie, thank you!

Long story short, my dream of owning an SW has fallen through, as I couldn't find one anywhere... Shocked

Lovely lass at our local dealership convinced her Manager to hold their last Celebration LE (Heritage HT) until she had spoken with me and just minutes before I wandered in (just passing!?!) to see what's what... Whistle

Deposit down, Heritage HT allocated, Ven's Dream diverted, one happy bunny, YAY... Mr. Green

But, sincerest thanks to you Steve, even though I ended up going the HT way in the end... Thumbs Up
