You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw

The same the the latest RR, Evoque etc I'm certain it will be a better can in every possible way to the current offering but won't have the heritage and following of the tradition.

Just a little 'simplified/stylised' Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8.

I think you're all reading a bit much into this Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8.

Hopefully these celebration editions have, if nothing else, shown that Land Rover at least still cares about the defender & it's roots Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8.

Presumably therefore it is intended to evoke Defendery thoughts rather than to be a detailed representation of anything in particular.
I think it was a rather good stunt, myself! I like it.

Roll on the replacement... Cheers Simon
