I do like the "heritagy" Forward Control style grille, that works well.

Perhaps the badging should include the letters "RIP".

Question? When was the aerial moved to the left side???

If you look at the pictures of the Orange one they are a mix of LHD and RHD - the one of the Noldens is a LHD.

Can't quite work out if the picture of the Heritage with the LH aerial is LHD or RHD.

I like that heritage one too.

Orange 110 just looks like a half G4 that someone's not quite finished yet.

90 SW heritage ordered for me. I wanted the Autobiography to be something really different but you can buy one like that easy enough. Means I have enough left to go search out a V8 or SVX now.

I like the look of the "heritage grille and light surrounds" (even though I can't see any difference from the standard light surrounds) but I would like the vehicle more if it was deep brinze green with limestone roof and wheels, ie a true heritage effect for the body shape.

I imagine that the heritage front will only be available in the bulbous aircon form, an aftermarket flush front version (that doesn't cost a fortune) would be nice.

Will they have cured all the leaks for the "final" RIP edition? Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Interesting. That's the first time I've ever seen the factory offering a power upgrade on a Puma in a brochure (Autobiography model up to 150Bhp).

£ 62,000 Shocked Shocked utterly ridiculous.

44k for the "adventure" is bad enough. they must be trying the pricing out for the new one.

^^^ Crikey!

They're trying for G wagen prices, but will no doubt fail on quality!

I'm not sure the £62k is all that bad really. Yes it is a lot of money but when put alongside the kahn/twisted style offerings it is not all that bad!

Plus you're buying a genuine Land Rover product, last of the last and that will be collectable and desirable for as long as they are around. As well as this they have a warranty without having to worry about will they/won't they fix it as it's modified unlike other "bespoke" vehicles Evil or Very Mad .

I must admit it would be the heritage for me but have plans to do something very similar myself anyway! Whistle

The two production line films on the LR media site are very revealing (at least to those of us who've not done a factory tour) and highlight exactly why the Defender has to change. What a shockingly labour intensive build process! No wonder the manufacturing cost is so high, and the build quality so variable!

At least it is very evident that LR appreciates the heritage of the Defender and this to my mind makes it likely that the replacement vehicle may have redeeming features. We shall see.

In the meantime I am having bad, very bad, thoughts about a Heritage Edition 110SW!

yeah, but i cant take twisted or khans pricing seriously either lol Mr. Green

with any other car manufacturer, you would expect more than a trim level increase if your going to double the price of the vehicle. it just isnt worth it, and the resale wont be any better than a standard one. A 50th v8 it isnt.

if it had a v8 or 3.2tdci, or even a factory auto then they could possibly justify it, but the same running gear with a chipped ecu just isnt enough. Its a shame they didnt include pics of the interior, but it better be amazing!
