Does anyone know this one? CUO3MVV? Cleary an ex farm Land Rover. I think there were sheep on the farm as it smelled like sheep when I got it.

Thank Christ for that.......and thanks to Captain Speaking for starting a post showing proper defenders doing proper work !
Sick to death of seeing poor defenders polished to within an inch of their life and fitted with sports car wheels. I will post some of mine when I figure how to do it or better still I will get my 14 year old to do it Nice one Captain 2013 sport hse 2012 700 raptor quad 2012 siromer 4x4 tractor |

I picked up a 10' trailed mower for a chap I know that he had bought off ebay. Two hundred mile round trip and a bit of a Krypton Factor excercise in collapsing the thing down to fit on the trailer

Haymaking, earlier this summer, somebody messed around with filters on the camera, then lost the original photo.

Great pic Stripygitface!
Could almost be the 70s - Landie, trailer, small bales and a Fergie 135. Lovely |

Steep learning curve this year, we have never baled before, and learning to setup and use a square baler proved interesting. However, having bought a machine that we were assured worked fine, found out the hard way it worked to a fashion, and needing stripping and setting up properly.
Once working properly did 1000 bales in a day which I was very happy with. |

Nostalgia.....the hours I've sat on a David Brown 990 staring into the pick-up of Bamford super 58 baler with the sun on my back. No cab, no aircon fantastic. Forward on six months same tractor Kvernelands 4 furrow 12" plough frost, rain, no cab no air con, I'm surprised I never had frostbite. On balance the summers just about made up for it.
