Mind the gap

I have an '09 110 CSW with 24000 miles on the clock and I've just noticed there is a gap between the trailing arm bush and trailing arm washer.

Dealer says it's normal but I have never noticed a gap on the trailing arm bushes of any of the other 110's or 90's I've owned/own.

Is this normal or not?

I would post a pic but can't see how to!
