My SMC Defender 90 TDCi
Collected her from the guys down at SMC Overland on Saturday, and as I've said on a previous post these guys couldn't have been more accomodating to deal with on the build and collection. Their stock vehicles are nice machines, but if you're wanting a car built to your own specification then these are the guys to talk to.

I cant comment on performance at the moment as I'm taking it nice and gentle but there feels as though there is plenty of poke although the 2.2 does feel very different to my old 2.4TDCi.

like the mirrors don't look too out of place, what model is the head unit?

The mirrors are the RDX heated units which are wired into the MUD Pod on the dash top. They are taking a bit of getting used to as they dont have the same offset as the standard and as such the rear perspective is very different.

The head is the Clarion NZ502E with GPS receiver and rear view camera (discretely position under the number plate light), very impressive bit of kit but so many features that its taking a while to get the hang of.

Seats are Corbeau RRS, which have been re-trimmed by SMC to my chosen patern. I can highly recommend them, very comfortable, offer a good driving position and maintain the seat heating.
