1996 Defender 90 300 Tdi SW Epsom Green
[For Sale] FOR SALE: defender hardtop roof,sides,headliner,d
Iam selling all the stuff to convert a defender 90 to a hard top, came off of a 96 300tdi but believe it will fit any defender.
Iam rebuilding my landy and converting to a softop hence no longer needed. Price based on ones i have seen go on ebay.
I have:
The roof and sides
roof has sunroof which doesn't leak, and the sides have blind spot windows from devon 4x4,
the roof is fully insulated with foil foam and all the joints are siliconed under this ( its about as leak free as a land rover can be Laughing ) the roof also has a work light fitted. the cb aerial mount i will blank with bolts unless buyer wants it. some flaking on the roof could do with respray depending on how fussy you are.
the sides have a sound deadening foam fitted and are epsom green

Interior pannels
I have made wooden interior panels to cover the foam and protect the sides

Headliner
Full head lining front and rear with rear part for over the door and sunroof trim. cut outs for speakers will chuck in some older speakers if needed. slight sagging but very clean good condition

Rear door
Rear door with heated screen and wiper inc all wiring. this has checker plate door card (slightly modified for aftermarket central locking)

Fittings
It has all the bolts and clips so it is ready to convert a vehicle.

Tried to cover everything, let me know if you need any more info. Thought i would try hear before ebay.
Want to sell all together as it makes a nice kit. Pick up only from soberton Hampshire £400 ONO

From when I was building my project-90 earlier this year, and considered a hard top, I was on the lookout for one.

Yours is good in so much as it has all the interior trim, which has to be worth £100. But, you've got the side windows which aren't standard and the rear door also looks quite corroded.... could put people off.

Maybe £275~£300 might be a better target.

Just my 2p worth.
