[For Sale] Alpine Stereo System - SOLD

Well where do I start with this one, I have a complete Alpine Stereo system which was all professionally fitted to a Land Rover I brought a couple of years after it was new. The previous owner said this was nearly £1500 at the time (going back some years). The vehicle was returned to standard and the kit has been boxed up and been in my loft for a few months I am now having abit of a clear out.

So where I begin well as far as I could tell everything worked exactly as it should when removed and when I say full system there is lots as can be seen in photos. There is the headunit complete with motorised screen, 'brain' unit, 12 CD Auto Changer, SAT NAV system, GPS Aerial, Remote Control. This was all state of the art at the time and I have to say even up to the day it was removed that running through some decent speakers the sound quality was absolutely fantastic so I think with some time and effort to fit this could make a decent stereo system which I think is too good to throw away.

Only faults I can really see is bottom of sat nav system has some surface rust, the sat nav disc is scratched so works intermittently (don't know if this can be polished up) and the surround has a clip broken but still held in place

The headunit is an IVA-C800R I haven't got a clue what its all worth, I do know that someone has just listed the same headunit and brain with none of the other stuff with a start bid of £100

Im only after £50 for the lot, ideally im looking for cash and collection in person as its quite big and heavy when all boxed up but I can arrange a courier which will be £12

To help with any queries regarding fitting this in a defender I can confirm this came out of a 110 the head unit is standard size with a long loom which allows the brain and other kit to be fitted elsewhere in the vehicle it was all fitted under the rear seats of the 110 station wagon..

This is a cheap project stereo sold as seen which I have no instructions for and there are a lot of wires to fit but all I can say is you have my word it was a very good stereo which worked fine when removed and was probably the ultimate in its day. What else can I say.
